iData Pro is a flexible, easy to use,
database program that can handle any number
of datafiles. You design each datafile with
a freeform text area and any number of
optional fields (or none at all).
The Freeform Text Area In
addition to text, the FTA can include notes,
images (even PDFs), and small videos. Text in
the FTA can have font and style variations,
such as bold and italic (rich text). A
single record can contain text in a variety of
languages, such as English, Japanese, Chinese,
and Ukrainian.
Optional Fields Fields can be added
to a datafile to provide more structure, and
more options for sorting and selecting records.
Clickable Links Links can be added
either to a field or to the FTA. Possibilities
are: links to web pages, links to email
addresses, links to other records in the
datafile, and links for opening specific files
on your hard drive or local network.
Highly Configurable iData Pro
provides preference options that give you lots
of control over how it looks and behaves, at
both the application and datafile levels.
Find Your Data Every datafile
window has a Find Box that is always
available to make locating the desired
record easy and fast, even in a datafile
with thousands of records.
Synchronize Datafiles Between Devices
You can synchronize datafiles with
another Mac, or with an iPad or iPhone
running iData Mobile Plus to
take with you on the road. Datafiles for
iData Mobile Plus can be created and edited
in iData Pro on the Mac, then uploaded to,
and synchronized with, iData Mobile Plus on
the mobile device. This makes data entry
easier, using the larger Mac keyboard and
iData Pro's extensive import and data
manipulation features.
Print Labels and Envelopes Templates
are provided for printing single or batch
labels and envelopes. You can make your own
templates with your return address, logo, or
other images. Templates can even be created
for printing business cards and custom forms.
There is a quick print function for printing a
single envelope or label from the current
record.
Extensive User Guide iData Pro
includes a detailed online User
Guide that is available through its Help
menu. The Help Topics index contains
links to articles that are organized into
three sections: Introductory Help Topics,
General Help Topics, and Functional Help
Topics. The Functional Help Topics articles
are arranged by menu item, and they include
the details of the functioning of virtually
all of the iData-specific menu items.

to encrypt and password-protect your data.
Note for Dropbox
Users: It is important
that you do not store your
datafiles in your Dropbox folder. Doing so can
cause a variety of problems, including loss of
changes during synchronization. You must
create a separate folder for that purpose. The
recommended place to store your datafiles is
in a folder called something like iData
Pro Datafiles located in your Documents
folder. If you use the label and envelope
printing functions of iData Pro, you should
place your iData Pro Templates folder
alongside the iData Pro Datafiles
folder.
Download iData Pro and try it free for
