When you create a new datafile in iData Mobile
Plus, on your iPhone or iPad, you may want to transfer a copy of
that datafile to your Mac.
This function requires iData Pro 4.0.42, or later, and iData
Mobile Plus 1.1.10, or later.
Here's how to do that using a WiFi connection:
Activate the WiFi Network in iData Mobile Plus
This article applies to both the iPhone and the iPad,
but to keep things simple, it just refers to the iPhone.
1. The Mac and the iPhone must both be on the same WiFi
2. Open iData Mobile Plus on the iPhone. Be
sure that WiFi is turned on, and a WiFi network is selected in the
iPhone Settings application.
3. Tap the

window, tap the WiFi
Synchronization button. This will bring up the
5. Note that the
top line in this window says, "No WiFi Connection". If you see
this line, it means that your iPhone does not have a good WiFi
connection. Once the WiFi connection is good, you will see that
it now says "Starting Connection". At that point, you can
proceed with transfer.
6. Leave this
window open until you finish transferring the datafile. (You can
transfer as many datafiles as you wish while this window remains
. Open iData Pro on the
Mac, and select Download Datafile via WiFi
in the File
8. If you have more than one nearby active WiFi
device, you may see a window that looks something like this:
In this case, select your
iPhone in the popup menu and click the OK
9. After a few seconds, you will see a list of
the datafiles in iData Mobile Plus on the iPhone.
10. Select a datafile to download, and click
11. If the datafile that you have selected
already exists in your Datafiles folder, you will see the

the datafile, you can go to the Finder, rename the existing
version of the datafile, then go back to iData Pro and click the Replace
